Julien's Auctions is excited to present an online-only auction featuring property from the estates and collection of three beloved celebrities: Patrick Swayze, Doris Roberts, and Shirley Jones. The timed auction begins on Saturday, April 29, 2017, and ends on Sunday, May 7, 2017.
Patrick Swayze, star of Dirty Dancing, Point Break, and Ghost, was a multi-talented actor, dancer, and singer-songwriter. Swayze is also known for his cowboy lifestyle. Highlights from his estate include film and event worn clothing from One Last Dance ($400-600) and Next of Kin ($400-600); western boots ($300-500); and furniture and decorative arts from his ranch.
Doris Roberts became everyone's Mom in her portrayal of Marie on Everyone Loves Raymond. From friendships with some of the greatest authors of our time to her outstanding art collection and beautiful costume jewelry, it is obvious that comedy was only a small part of Roberts' legacy. Highlights from her estate include a group of sterling jewelry ($400-600); a group of brooches ($400-600); two artworks by Itzchak Tarkay ($400-600); and floral paintings by Roberts ($400-600).
Shirley Jones is an Academy Award-winning actress whose prolific acting career spanned over six decades. Highlights from her collection include glamorous gowns such as a red evening gown ($200-400) and a beaded gown and bolero ($200-400).
INTERNET EXCLUSIVE AUCTION
Ends Sunday, May 7th, 2017
at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time
(with extended bidding)
Bidding Available Exclusively Through http://julienslive.com
Extended Bidding: This auction will be governed by an "open-ended" 10-minute rule. The auction will go into 10-minute mode when any bid is placed within 10 minutes of the auction closing time. Once in 10-minute mode, every lot in the auction will be extended by an additional 10 minutes each time a new bid is placed. Once 10 minutes has passed without any new bids being placed, the auction will close. This is designed to protect you from losing lots to sniper bidders trying to place bids right before the closing in hopes no one else will have time to bid again. This process may take several hours, so you have the option of leaving an absentee, or maximum, proxy bid. Our system will bid on your behalf incrementally until you have either won the item, or your maximum has been reached.
